Menai Bridge Print
Modern Menai Bridge Print
My detailed pen and ink drawing captures the intricate details of the iconic Menai Bridge, in North Wales.
The print shows Thomas Telford’s feat of engineering that connects Anglesey and mainland Wales. Designed in the 19th century, the world’s first iron suspension bridge sits at an impressive one hundred feet above the Menai Strait below it.
Inspired by my architectural background, I’ve used layers of intricate pattern and texture to bring the bridge and its surroundings to life. Watercolour paints give a wonderful warmth to this monochrome print.
Printed on FSC certified, archival quality paper, this detailed print comes mounted, and wrapped in eco-friendly recycled tissue.
Each print is printed in my Cardiff-based studio, and then mounted and packaged by hand to ensure a quality finish. Printing to order means less waste and therefore less impact on the environment - something that is extremely important to me.
This print comes presented in a soft white, conservation grade card mount and measures 20”x6” / 50.8cm x 15.2cm.
The mounted print is wrapped in eco-friendly recycled tissue and delivered in plastic-free, recyclable packaging. Sheets of robust leftover corrugated cardboard donated by another small and local business, ensure safe postage.
