This gorgeous commission was made for a customer who wanted to celebrate her daughter's 11th birthday. Every object represents a sentimental memory from her daughter’s childhood - including her first shoes to her favourite books. It was a joy to make and I love the fact that this thoughtful gift will last a lifetime.

This is a memory box commissioned by Microsoft. It was a retirement gift for a senior Communications Director and documented the memories and changes he’d experienced in his role over the years.

Box for Jak
“As soon as I saw Katherine's beautiful boxes, I knew I had found the ideal gift for my nephew Jak who lost his sight when he was 15. I made a list of things that Jak is passionate about, e g. rugby, Wales, his guide dog and lots more. Katherine included me at all stages, exchanging emails with ideas and photographs as the box developed. Jak loves his box, it is tactile and reflects his life and passions. Charles Darwin Box for Roger
“I like collecting small objects and knick-knacks but then despair of the clutter I create. I saw Katherine's boxes and thought this might be a way of displaying some of the fossils and plastic dinosaur trash I've been collecting since childhood. We put our heads together on displaying some of the famous images associated with Charles Darwin and his work. This box is now on the wall at the top of my stairs and it cheers me up every time I pass it. " Roger |
