Cardiff Half Marathon Landmarks Print (Official Artwork)
I’m proud to say that I created my illustration of the iconic landmarks that appear along the route of the Cardiff half marathon, in collaboration with the official sponsors of the esteemed event. Perfect as a souvenir for those who put so much effort into training for, taking part in, and organising the run, it can also be personalised with the name of a runner, the date of the race, and their race time.
Marking the key milestones of the race, this artwork features the significant landmarks that add to the excitement and sense of accomplishment for participants. Cardiff Castle, serves as the starting point and sets the stage for the race ahead. Runners then mark the first mile by passing the majestic Principality Stadium, a testament to Cardiff's sporting legacy.
At the 5.5-mile mark, the Norwegian Church stands as a distinctive landmark, offering a glimpse of Cardiff's maritime heritage. The scenic beauty of Cardiff Bay unfolds at the 6-mile mark, providing a refreshing backdrop for runners.
Serene Roath Park awaits runners at the 10-mile mark, offering a moment of tranquillity and respite before the final stretch. Cardiff University stands tall at the 13-mile mark, and finally, Cardiff’s grand City Hall serves as the ultimate milestone, marking the finish line and the runners' hard work and dedication.

Each print is printed in my Cardiff-based studio, and then mounted and packaged by hand to ensure a quality finish. Printing to order means less waste and therefore less impact on the environment - something that is extremely important to me.
This print is presented in a soft white, conservation grade card mount and measures 20”x6” / 50.8cm x 15.2cm.
The mounted print is wrapped in eco-friendly recycled tissue and delivered in plastic-free, recyclable packaging. Sheets of robust leftover corrugated cardboard donated by another small and local business, ensure safe postage.
